Lloyd joined the Torah Day School of Ottawa in May of 2022 as the principal of General
Studies.
For most of his career, he worked for Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. His various
roles included, classroom teacher, Special Education teacher, school principal and system
principal of Special Education. Before moving to the Ottawa area from Peterborough, spring of
2022, Lloyd was teaching at Trent University, in the School of Education.
Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trent University, a Bachelor of Education
Degree from Queen’s University and a Master’s Degree in Education from University of
Toronto. His professional interests include literacy, mathematics, and sciences along with
Special Education.
Lloyd works with our General Studies teachers on curriculum and pedagogy but he works with
all teachers on programming ideas to improve lesson delivery and promote engagement. He
wants to ensure that our students connect with their faith and that they meet their full potential
through their experiences at TDSO.
