Judaic Studies Curriculum (K-8)—Empowering Jewish Identity

Judaic Studies Curriculum

Torah Day School of Ottawa’s Judaic Studies Program is designed to instill a strong sense of Jewish identity, a love of Torah, and a commitment to Mitzvah observance.

Our curriculum goes beyond textual learning to include hands-on experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Experiential learning allows students to see, live, and love what they learn.

The Judaic Studies program covers Kriah, Kesivah, Ivrit, Chumash (using the highly acclaimed Lehavin Ulehaskil program), Navi, Jewish history, Tefilah, and more. Curriculum goals focus on giving students the foundational skills to become independent, lifelong learners.

Our caring and dedicated staff create a dynamic learning environment through field trips, creative projects, and special events. This fosters school spirit, togetherness, and engagement, ensuring that students are excited to come to school each day.

Ultimately, our goal is to equip students with the tools to live a Torah lifestyle, be passionate, lifelong Torah learners and active contributors to the Jewish community.
